Why have you moved to the stadium?

Aside from it being impossible for the event to get ‘rained off’, we stand for LGBT Equality and Diversity and what better what to make that statement than by moving into a world famous venue?! The media interest already generated by this move has been far greater than any other Mardi Gras before.  This media coverage is extremely positive for promoting what we all believe in – equality for the LGBT community.   We want to be noticed, understood and accepted by the wider community across Cardiff and Wales.  The more attention we can get, the better.  We firmly believe that by holding Cardiff Mardi Gras in a venue as epic as Millennium Stadium, we are sending out a clear message - we are big, we are bold and we are going to celebrate equality and diversity in a massive way in 2013, so come and join with us!

Will the wider community hear the message you’re trying to shout about?

We believe in and want to promote LGBT Equality and Diversity and yes, this message will reach the wider community.  As well as all of the media attention we will continue to receive, the inaugural Mardi Gras parade will return through the streets of Cardiff City Centre and into the gates at Millennium Stadium to kick the event off! What better way to shout about what we stand for?!

What will the price of tickets be?

What we have planned for this year’s event will make your ticket excellent value for money, but here are the various ticket prices:

Tickets will operate a one time entry policy only, if you wish to re-enter another ticket will need to be purchased. This is so the capacity can be managed at all times for health & safety.

Will there be a designated smoking area?

In short, yes! Just like any other event at Millennium Stadium, there will be specific areas for smokers to visit throughout the day.

How are you intending to accommodate physically disabled individuals? Is there any provision for the hearing impaired?

As always, we welcome everyone to the event, regardless of sexuality, gender, race or physical disability.  We have included big plans accommodating those with physical disabilities and for those with hearing impairments.

When will the tickets be available for purchase?

Keep your eyes on Facebook and Twitter for advanced tickets sales! You will also be able to purchase your tickets on the door.

What is the policy on alcohol?

As with previous Mardi Gras events, absolutely no alcohol will be allowed to brought onto the site. However, the Millennium Stadium is a licensed venue and alcohol will be available inside the event.
